TIM

10 October 1988 - 20 November 2001

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush

of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die...
The best doggy in the World

Tim was the best doggy in the World anyone could ever have as a pet. From the moment he arrived he was full of life and energy. He used to love running around the garden with one of his squeeky toys in his mouth, barking at cars and the postman going past, and at Boxer dogs!

Tim was so friendly - he loved everyone and was always really pleased to see you. He was also a great friend to his companion cat, Jarvis, who often looked at Tim with great disdain. Golly and Tigger spent some time with him, at Christmas and occasional weekends. He thought they were new playmates, although neither of them agreed with that concept. Tigger kept a watch on Tim's antics from a distance, while Golly would run past him and occasionally swipe her paw at him. Mabel met Tim during the summer of 2001. As far as we know this was her first encounter with a doggy, and she really made her feelings felt! The day she met him she flew up in the air, ears back, fur on end, hissing and spitting like a real little spitfire. Unfortunately, by the time it was Mungo's turn to visit Tim's home he had already passed.

Goodbye dear friend.

"No coward soul is mine, No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere, I see Heaven's glories shine, And Faith shines equal, arming me from Fear."
