Now that I'm back home, I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself and my hobbies.

My favourite hobbies are:

  1. Snuggling up to Mum when she gets home from work and telling her about my day.

  2. Sunbathing in a lovely warm spot with my beautiful belly on show for all the world to see.

  3. Looking beautiful and posing for photos. Please take a look at my online photo album - I hope you'll agree that I am beautiful!

  4. Teasing my sister Golly. Now - this is an excellent past time. All I have to do is pat Golly on the head and we have great fun playing chase around the living room and bedroom. We used to take this up the curtains as well, but I've stopped doing that now as I'm too heavy for the curtains to take!

  5. Playing 'fetch' with plastic bottle tops. I could go on playing this for hours getting Mum to throw the bottle top and then running as fast as possible to catch it and bring it back to her!

  6. Mousing. If you don't know about this great sport then you are really missing out! What you do is wait until the temperature outside cools down in during Spring and Summer. Then, find an area full of little mice and voles etc.

What you do is lie in wait so that the little things don't realise you are there, and then very quickly pounce so that you have one trapped under your paws. Now comes the difficult part. Without letting it escape, quickly pick it up in your mouth and run indoors. The best place for letting it go is in the shoe rack - oh the squeels of delight from Mum when I did this! The little mouse runs around trying to escape, Mum runs around trying to catch it, and so do I! Mum seems to be much better than me at catching them when they're indoors, and thinks she is 'rescuing' them by putting them back outside - but I know she's really putting them back out there so I can hunt them down again!

  7. Eating - a wonderful hobby. My favourite food is Tuna, but I do enjoy a nice plate of meat, preferably served up at the temperature of a freshly killed mouse. Yum!

  8. Sleeping. Everyone needs their beauty sleep, me included. I like to spend the majority of my time catching up on my beauty sleep so that I can appreciate my beauty when I'm awake. Of course, sometimes, mousing gets in the way of sleeping, but every man knows that sport comes before all else!

So, now you know a little bit about me, and hopefully perused my photo album, I'd like to take this chance to thank the lady who took me to the vet's so I could be reunited with my Mum. I'd also like to ask people who are putting food out for a little cat to see if they can find out from neighbours if it belongs to anyone, and if not to take it to a vet to be scanned for a microchip. Vet's will not charge you for doing this, and if the cat doesn't have a microchip and no owner can be traced, if you let the vet know that you are willing to continue caring for the cat then there is no reason why the vet shouldn't let you take the cat back home with you.

Purrs and Paws,
