We’d like to introduce Maud and Kiki.

Maud on the left and Kiki on the right. Maud was born on the 26th June 1994 and Kiki was born on the 4th of July 1992. Kiki is a lovely grey colour with a white bib and chin, whereas Maud has tortoiseshell colouring - she couldn't decide what colour she wanted to be when she was being made so she opted for a little of everything!

Maud and Kiki live with our Aunt Kathy on the Isle of Wight. Maud likes to keep the household ruled with an iron paw, whereas Kiki likes to get out and about and enjoy herself.

They both met Golly and Tigger one Christmas. Tigger was very sensible and stayed out of their way, whereas Golly refused to acknowledge that she was a visitor and abide by their rules. This led to a few confrontations between her and Maud, as Maud can be quite fierce where visitors are concerned, but Golly stood her ground and took every opportunity she could to see how far she could antagonise Maud!

Maud and Kiki’s hobbies include understanding the importance of getting enough beauty sleep. Kiki likes to sleep on the flat roof above the lounge while sunning herself, whereas Maud tends to choose much more comfortable and sensible spots for her catnaps. They absolutely adore food, and will always come running whenever they can hear their biscuits being served out, or a tin of meat being opened! Neither of them are particularly big hunters, although in their younger days our Aunt used to find frogs hopping around the dining room! Recently Maud had an encounter with a slow worm. Maud's hunting methods are rather unconventional - she sat on the worm all day long until she had managed to flatten the poor thing!
